Greg Anderson
Director
Greg is a Director at Tenzing Consulting, bringing a diverse professional background of operations leadership, client relationship management, and strategic sourcing and supply chain consulting to bear for clients. As a consultant and client relationship manager, Greg has advised senior executives on business initiatives to improve global strategic sourcing and supply chain operations. His most significant client relationships have included Honeywell, Jabil Circuit, Johnson & Johnson, ConocoPhillips, Whirlpool and Raytheon.
Prior to joining Tenzing Consulting, Greg was a director at SmartOps Corporation, the market leader in supply chain optimization solutions. At SmartOps Greg's responsibilities included new account acquisition and providing strategic consulting services to supply chain executives at Fortune 500 companies in the discrete manufacturing, high-technology, and consumer packaged goods industries.
From 1999 to 2005, Greg was a member of the leadership team at FreeMarkets that grew the company from $10 million to nearly $200 million in revenues and established FreeMarkets as the leading global business-to-business e-marketplace. His responsibilities included strategic sourcing consulting, managing global e-marketplace operations, and client account management.
From 1994 to 1999, Greg was an operations manager and plant manager at GE Lighting, where his responsibilities included factory management, strategic business planning, new product introductions, customer service, inventory, quality and cost productivity. While at GE, Greg also implemented numerous Six Sigma projects, including the first approved control plan in a GE Lighting manufacturing facility.
Greg began his career at PPG Industries as a production engineer and held positions of increasing responsibility in the Float Glass and Fiberglass divisions. Greg resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
